Who it suits

Beginners and returning students, side by side.

Ages

4 years and up

We take students from age four, and we keep teaching as far as a student wants to go.

Levels

Foundation to diploma

Foundation through to advanced level, and on to diploma. Complete beginners welcome; so are students who already read music and want to go further.

Styles

Classical, jazz and more

Classical, jazz, and other styles. Lessons are one to one, so the music fits the student.

What we teach

More than playing the notes.

  • Practical. Playing, technique and repertoire at the instrument.
  • Theory. How music is built, so a student understands what they are playing.
  • Musicianship. Aural skills, sight-reading and the things that make a real musician.

Beyond the weekly lesson

Workshops and programs.

Alongside weekly lessons, the school runs a set of programs for students who want to push further:

  • Masterclasses.
  • Performers' Workshop.
  • Instructors' Training Course.
  • Piano Arrangement Workshop.
And for students working toward formal qualifications, we teach the full ABRSM examination syllabus, on site, because we are an ABRSM exam centre. See how exams work here
How lessons run

One to one, at the Ardross studio.

Lessons are one to one at our Ardross studio. Contact us for current lesson times and availability.

For the client to confirm before launch: lesson length and frequency, term structure, teaching days and hours, and whether lessons are held only at the Ardross studio. These will be filled in with the school's real details rather than guessed.

Fees

How fees work.

Fees depend on lesson length and level. We are happy to talk you through the options. The simplest first step is to book an introductory lesson, meet a teacher, and we will explain fees and the right starting point for the student.

For the client to confirm: real term or per-lesson fees and any trial-lesson policy, to be published here. No fee figure is invented in this mockup.
